This summer trend is truly all about having socks with footwear. It’s all over the fashion scene on runways and on celebrities. It's not necessarily a new trend but its definitely becoming more and more common. This year footwear is being combined with socks and sandals, which is definitely such a fashion pet peeve of mine by the way! However, that’s fashion for you.

 The fashionable Olsen twins have been seen wearing sweat socks with Birkenstocks, yes Birkenstocks and I must admit it did look cool and comfy. On this season’s runways Dolce and Gabbana put sandals on models with socks. So yes ugly footwear is in! Truthfully, footwear that is suitable for socks can be anything from sandals to jellies; find some cute socks and rock out. And we can’t deny the comfort of being comfortable. So why not be comfortable and fashionable!
