Founder of Curio Styling; Saniyyah Bilal and Radio Host at Philly 107.9: Darcel
On June 20, 2014 I had the luxury of attending the Jewelry Shop Party presented by Saniyyah Bilal of Curio Styling Consultants. The event consisted of a fashion show that was styled by Saniyyah Bilal and a jewelry demonstration for Chloe and Isabel jewelry. The Curio Styling event was very classy and sophisticated; it was also well organized and noticeably very well planned. I enjoyed my experience, especially networking, the lovely jewelry and the fashion shows.
90s Scene: Models-Dymin, Yoko, Dita & Isa
The event was hosted by Darcel from Hot 107.9 Philly radio show. During the event there were two fashion scenes; one was inspired by 90s fashion and the other was special occasion wear. It was held at the venue, Indigo Bleu Design and Culture Center. The make-up on each model was done by make-up artists’ @ymakeupbyyaya and @joliesaudia. At the end of the event there were awesome giveaways from the sponsors; one of the sponsors was Koco Nail Salon & Wax Studio.
Saniyyah Bilal is the founder of Curio Styling Consultants. She has earned a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Industry Management and an MBA in Apparel Business Studies, from Philadelphia University. Saniyyah is a creative director, fashion stylist, personal shopper and she also serves as a community activist. She is a fashion teacher at the non-profit organization SCH CAPA as well as an Alimah Scout troop leader in her own local Muslim girl scout group. In February 2012, inspired by her experiences and Islamic culture, she developed her own styling company which is Curio Styling Consultants.
