When On The Run tour came to Philly, I literally felt like I was the ONLY female in the city that was not in attendance lol. I had to force myself to stay off of Instagram and social media because I was jealous of everyone who went to the show that was posting pictures and videos. Luckily and surprisingly, I was able to attend the show a week later, at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ and let me just say that it totally gave me LIFE! By far, the best show I’ve ever experienced.

According to Forbes, On The Run is expected to make $100 million in gross sales, averaging at about 5 million gross sales per show. The Carters are about halfway through their total of 20 shows and Forbes predicts that this will be the second most successful tour ever, which doesn’t at all surprise me! Beyonce and Jay-Z are two absolutely amazing artists and performers individually, so when they came together, it was EPIC and nothing less than greatness! From beginning to end they put on a phenomenal show, 3 hours, without any intermission. The storyline, theme, dope outfits, talented dancers and background singers, the transitions, Jay-Z’s flow, BeyoncĂ©’s angelic voice, and everything just FLAWLESS!!

I was going to go ahead and post a few videos of the show; however, I don’t want to spoil it all for our readers who are still waiting for the tour to come to their city. For those who haven’t bought tickets yet, I encourage you to. And for the people who have missed it, you are definitely in for a treat because Michael Lombardo, president of HBO Programming just announced that they plan to air the tour via HBO, in September. So you’ll be able to experience the show, front row seats, right from your own living room. I can’t wait to see it again! ;)
