1st Transformation Thursday: IVY JACKSON

Happy Happy Thursday everyone!!! As most of us know, next Thursday is the big day. I'm excited to see family and have fun but definitely excited about the FOOD! I know I have been on good eating behavior leading up to this holiday knowing that I will have my fair share (plus more) of food items. Then, I will be good again (until Christmas), lol. But that will be my cheat day for the week and not Saturday. So, in preparation for this week's article, I wanted to inspire you with a weight loss transformation.

It is my pleasure to introduce Ms. Ivy Jackson. Ivy works in social services and is a Herbalife Distributor. She started her weight loss journey in March 2013 and lost 51lbs through the nutrition program with Herbalife. Initially, she was supporting her friend who was selling Herbalife products and connected with a nutrition club full of people who had the same goal, weight loss. The nutrition club helped her stick with it through their support and push. In a couple of months, she lost 20lbs, felt amazing, looked different, and was doing things she haven’t done since she was a child. She dedicated herself to fitness camps and workouts three times a week, stuck to the nutrition plan, and drank lots of water. Ivy admits having hard days of wanting to throw in the towel but reminded herself of why she started this journey and kept pushing.

Ms. Jackson is currently maintaining her weight, fitting in clothes she always wanted to wear, and looked how she always dreamed of looking. Her biggest accomplishment through her entire weight lost journey is assisting others in reaching their fitness and weight lost goals because of the choices she made. She's now a resource to aid others in a healthier lifestyle and for that, she is forever grateful. Ivy closes with some tips of inspiration for who ever wants to lose weight and feel as though they have tried everything: "I want them to know the beginning is always the hardest. Losing weight is hard and you have to want it so bad to keep pushing through. Those days you feel like giving up. Don't. The breakthrough normally happens right when you’re about to throw in the towel. It's all mental. Nothing worth having is easy. So keep going!"
