JAE: Fashion Label Spotlight: RUE107

The fashion line I'd like to spotlight is Rue107. The creative designer behind Rue107 is Marie Jean-Baptiste. Rue107 labels themselves as the "home of confidence and curves" and their clothing truly represents that. I love the theme of their clothing, its fun and out of the box. Plenty of their items are form fitting, incorporates bright colors, bold patterns and eye catching prints. Rue107 has remained true to their style but has found a way to keep their clothing innovative while remaining fun and fashion forward. They feature straight sizes and curvy sizes which is why I love this brand so much.

I came across Rue107 a while back by following a few fashion bloggers; one in particular is Essie Golden (instagram @goldenlady25), who also models for Rue107. Essie had featured on her blog one of their bikinis for plus size women and I just had to have one.

This clothing line is definitely for the confident curvy fashionista. Its a line that you go to when you're looking for an item or an outfit that's sure to have you stand out, one:for the way it hugs your curves and two: for the boldness of the look, be it the print or color.
