Budget Friendly Memorial Day Outings

Life should never be all work and no play. It’s important to set aside time for family, friends and FUN too!!! And the best part about it is you don’t have to break the bank to do so.

What better time to plan a little fun in the sun than a Holiday Weekend! Hopefully you’ve all had your share of hot dogs and hamburgers by now. If you’re looking for something besides the typical cookout, there are plenty of options for all ages right here in the Philadelphia area. Some of the bigger events took place on Saturday and Sunday, but no worries, still lots to do today!

Historical
In a city so historically and culturally rich, a national holiday like today wouldn’t be right if there were no acts of patriotism. The Constitutional Center in Old city Philadelphia is hosting a slew of events. “Look forward to flag ceremonies when the museum opens and closes each day, patriotic karaoke, themed crafts, a thank-a-vet letter station, giant flag folding lessons and much more(Phillymag.com)
