We all have flaws and insecurities that leave us, hindering ourselves from being fully open with wearing certain things. With this post I'd like to talk about body shapers and bras and how significant they are when it comes to shaping our bodies and providing the perfect illusion… so that we are indeed SNATCHED from head to toe. With Shapewear we are looking for a smooth and controlled look and with bras we are looking for lift, coverage and support.

Shapewear is not just for plus size women. Shapewear comes in all sizes and that is for a reason, most women need or can benefit from a perfect body shaper. Shapewear should be worn with form-fitting items as well as with thin fabrics that show just too much, like every dent, lump and bump. Bodycon dresses are a perfect example of an item that shows every imperfection, but when worn with the right Shapewear  will smooth everything out and leave you with the confidence of looking good. I have tried many different Shapewear styles and brands, and I have three that my friends and I can vouch for that work really well.

I can't talk about Shapewear without talking about bras, it's very, very important that we all wear the perfect bra that's the correct size and gives the most support. Wearing the perfect bra does justice just like a body shaper. When the girls are happy, they look perky and lifted. I am heavy chested so it's important that I have support and comfort. I also consulted with women of different sizes to tell me which bras they love. Target carries intimate apparel by Xhilaration. Their bras are comfortable, affordable and long-lasting. I checked Target's website and they have bras ranging from $4.98-$14.99! How can we forget Victoria Secret, their Dream Angel Multi-Way/Polyvalent Bra is perfect for women who like push-up bras. If you're a B cup, it'll make you look like a D! For my full-figured women I like Cacique by Lane Bryant bras, they are very supportive and made for larger cup sizes. Their bras can be a little pricey at times, but look out for their sales; they currently have a buy 2, get 1 free sale on select styles!

Having the perfect undergarments makes all the difference in looking good in your clothing. Not saying all women need them, but we all have our problem areas that we like to hide or are self-conscious of. Let's not be self-conscious, let’s just control them, don't let them control us!
