Think Like A Man Too

When it comes to promo Kevin Hart plays no games. If you follow him on Twitter and Instagram you already know he’s everywhere promoting his new work. So it wasn't a surprise when the promotion started for Think Like A Man Too. The whole cast was on board promoting their movie and we all loved their covers on Essence magazine. Their hard work certainly paid off, according to USA Today, Think Like A Man Too took the number one spot this weekend, grossing over $30 million.

Before I went to watch the movie I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought it would be similar to the first one and discuss relationships. But boy was I wrong, it was a full-out comedy. Yes they had the typical relationship problems such as planning to have a baby, commitment issues and trying to figure out if he/she is the one. But I'm glad that wasn't the main focus of the movie. And we can all agree Kevin Hart stole the show! It was one funny moment after another; we all waited in anticipation to see what his crazy character Cedric would do next. And Dominic (Michael Ealy) is always nice to look at. However, lets not forget the girls, they were fly as always especially Lauren (Taraji P. Henson) and Mya (Meagan Good).

I enjoyed the movie overall, but there were some cheesy parts. Like Cedric dancing around the hotel room in his underwear. Also the awkward 'video' the girls made to Poison. I admit there were some funny parts like when Tish (Wendi McLendon-Convey) was rapping, but the rest I could have done without. I also didn't get why Candace would use the 90-day rule before she got married, I thought that applied when you're dating and trying to find that one.

We all can agree we can't stand Michael's (Terrance Jenkins) mom. I was waiting for Candace (Regina Hall) to tell her off. I was so happy when Mr. All State (Dennis Haysbert) came and took her away. I was excited to see how turnt up each group would get while they were in Vegas. The boys were getting on my nerves but the girls did try to have fun. The funniest moment in the movie goes to that strip club scene; it was HILARIOUS. The whole movie theater erupted in laughter, mainly because we can all agree it would've went down the same way if our friends especially our man/woman was fighting.

Think Like A Man Too is def a must-see. I loved how it ended and was happy each relationship worked out there problems. And Michael and Candace finally said their 'I Dos'. They both seem perfect for each other! But of course the movie wouldn’t have been complete without another scene with Cedric aka Kevin Hart acting a fool!

  1. This was a great review of this film I agree the hotel scene reminded me of a tom cruise film however I enjoyed the Allstate man with his sexiness and the strip club was the highlight of the movie.
