"On the Run" Fashion

Have you been coming across photos of Beyonce's tour outfits and have been like 'wow thats cute' or 'thats decent I wonder who made that'?! Well I know I have! Even though the "On the Run" tour features her husband Jay-Z, Beyonce has been on her stuff when it comes to her outfits/costumes as usual.


The designers to blame for Beyonce's killer stage outfits is Project Runway's Michael Costello, Diesel, Versace, Alexander Wang, Stuart Weitzman (shoes) and Riccardo Tisci a designer for Givenchy, just to name a few! They have all been dressing celebrities for years! Michael Costello has been dressing celebrities from Gabourey Sidebe to Kim Kardashian and her bridesmaids for her wedding! The Givenchy brand is that go to brand for the red carpet or anything! The Givenchy team has dressed Beyonce for several red carpet events like last years met gala and so many other celebs!

Beyonce has teamed up with the designers to have killer outfits for this tour! Michael is to blame for that killer lace body suit with those long cathedral sleeves and the bodysuit sequins and brief bottoms. Tisci of Givenchy designed the black zip bodysuit with the detachable black and white American flag skirt (gagged when I saw it!). Of course the theme throughout the show was Bonnie and Clyde with a modern twist and these outfits surely were Sasha Fierce!! Beyoncé wore both a fishnet and leather Atelier black bodysuit (complete with a plunging neckline, a fishnet head mask and high heel combat boots) by none other than Versace. Alexander Wang designed a "bondage body suit". Diesel designed a destroyed jean romper Beyoncé wore paired with a captain's hat and Stuart Weitzman knee boots.

The designers all did a great job capturing the personality of Beyonce's stage presence. Each designer knew who they were designing for and committed to it to the T and it showed. Beyonce hands down looked amazing. I give it to her for making sure she presents her best to her fans. Who knew that she would take so much effort to bring forth beautiful costumes/outfits for her tour!
