No point in stating the obvious we already know police brutally has been out of hand especially the two recent incidents that were caught on videotape. One video was of a woman being horribly beaten by a California Highway Patrol officer. Another video was of victim Eric Garner who was being harassed by NYPD; excessive force was used, he was put in a chokehold and sadly he died from a heart attack. The big question is what is being done about it?
If I ever got pulled over I would be scared. It seems like some police officers believe they are above the law. I could be forced out of my vehicle, beaten, hospitalized and the officer will probably just get away with a warning. And who knows how many police brutally incidents are unreported. I know I shouldn't but when I see someone in my neighborhood get pulled over or stopped by the cops I stay close by to make sure no one is hurt.
I'm tired of hearing when officers do something wrong, 'they are currently suspended while we investigate'. No fire them; these videos are all the proof you need. Then prosecute them for their crime and convict them. They deserve to be in jail like the criminals they are. If it was a civilian who committed the same crimes, the judge would throw the book at them.

I’m happy to see that there was a protest in NY for the victim Eric Garner. I know the new thing is to sign a petition. Yes is nice for us to take five seconds out of our day to sign our name, it may make a difference. But the only way police brutally will stop is if we take a stand. Join together, protest, rally, whatever it takes for our voices to be heard.
