Beyonce's 7/11

This past Friday, Beyoncé surprised her fans with the DIY video for her new single “7/11.” Now this video wasn’t what we typically expect from Queen Bey; nonetheless, it was creative, fun, and playful! Furthermore, it showed us a look on the inside of Bey’s personal life away from the Hollywood/celebrity world. After all, Beyoncé did give us fans a glance into what most believe may be her very own home...

Beyoncé starts by dancing on the high-rise balcony in her Kale sweatshirt, underwear, knee pads, and socks and then proceeds to bring the party inside with her dancer friends as they dance in their undies, play with Christmas gifts in their pajamas, roll dice, sip from red cups, and just overall have innocent fun. The video even shows Beyoncé jumping on her bed with Blu Ivy for a split second (at 58 seconds in). In my opinion, I love the video & love even more how versatile Beyoncé is as an artist. She always comes up with something new to surprise the fans & most importantly, everything she does is nothing short of amazing.

The release of 7/11 video was a weekend treat before the Beyoncé Platinum Edition Box Set was released on 11/24/14. According to Amazon, "The Beyoncé Platinum Edition Box Set includes:
