From time to time, I like to get a full sew-in weave
as a protective style to help my hair grow. Before I knew about virgin hair, I
would purchase Goddess Remy hair, which would last 1-2 months with proper care.
But when I heard of virgin hair such as Indian and Brazilian that
could last up to 6 months, I decided to give it a try.
Over the past 2+ years I have tried a few different hair companies. Most of the hair I purchased lasted for about 2-3 months. When the hair starting to become tangled, I would try different techniques to bring it back to life like deep conditioning, the boil method, and trimming the hair, but after a while I would just throw it in the trash.

Ms.Lula Brazilian Virgin Body Wave |
I literally got my hair in 3 days and I was excited!! The hair came in a pretty package along with hair care instructions on a postcard. I checked for any signs of lice before opening the package; coast clear. And to my surprise the hair was so very soft and there was no weird smell.

Bleaching the lace closure |
When I washed the hair I used Oil of Morocco
sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner by Marc Anthony. When I washed the hair it
wasn’t dirty at all. When I was finished the process, I let the hair air dry. I
also bleached the net on the lace closure because it helps give it a natural
scalp look.

Hair styled by Asia Bey @abeybeyhair12 |
My hair was installed and curled by hair stylist
Asia Bey (@abeybeyhair12 on Instagram) and I absolutely loved it. All I had to
do was put on a bonnet at night and shake and go in the morning. My hair is
only 2 weeks old and so far so good. I’ll give y’all an update in a few months
to let y’all know how it’s going. Follow me on Instagram @dream_er88, if you’ll
like to see how it is in the meantime. Feel free to post any questions or comments
below and I’ll be happy to answer them!
