Fashion on a Budget!

imagesAre you pressed for cash or on a tight budget and need to revamp your Fall wardrobe? Or, do you have items in your closet that are lightly worn and you can't see throwing them away. Well there are several resources available to help you get extra cash and more bang for your buck!

Selling items nowadays is quite easy. Much easier than having a sidewalk sell or a yard sell. Of course it's always great for you to donate items you no longer want but they’re are some items lets be honest that are great garments and you’ve paid a good penny for and don’t want to just give them away. Selling items are as easy as taking a picture, figuring out the price and posting it and waiting for a buyer. Resources available are Ebay, Amazon, Poshmark, Etsy, SnobSwap, ASOS Marketplace, and more. Of course it’s a great idea to shop these sites as well however, when it comes to selling do your research, see what it will cost you and try them out! Most are free of charge or have minor fees, some even include shipping fees, just do your research.

Are you a business woman or a socialite and always have events to go to but can't afford to keep buying clothes for them or just are pressed for time and can't find the time to shop. Well you can also rent items. Yes, I did say rent. With sources such as Rent the Runway and Gwynnie Bee you can rent clothing at your leisure, dry clean and return. This is convenient because with social media now most items we wear to events we don’t want to repeat unless we just absolutely fall in love with the items. Unfortunately we care if we seem to repeat clothing choices by our peers and never want to “wear the same thing twice”. With Gwynnie Bee there’s a monthly subscription of $35 per month to have access to an unlimited wardrobe for women sizes 10-32. With Rent the Runway you browse the items available, pick the date you need the items, how long and just return it no dry cleaning needed. They even offer Spanx and double stick tape! Love these choices! Because you have the opportunity to have a constant wardrobe change without having to worry about spending too much money when you’re on a budget. We know it can become quite expensive to keep up with the Joneses and to shop all the time for events or just for leisure.
