JAE CHALLENGES YOU TO CHOOSE AT LEAST ONE THING YOU CAN DO TO PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE NEW YEAR… POST IT ON FB OR IG… THEN tag @JAEBLOG and #JAE28DAYS… It’s a movement and we are better together. We got about 4 weeks until the New Year let’s get it crackin’. Continue to read for some ideas…

Who’s excited about this time of the year?!!!!! I know I am! The spirit in the air is amazing and I can’t get enough of it. It is a time for reflection, giving, and preparation for me! I’ve been seeing a bunch of people preparing healthily. I mentioned before it is not good to wait until the New Year to start your resolutions, begin now! Get a jumpstart on what you want the New Year to be. My very first article spoke about dedication and preparation for this journey so let’s start getting our mind right and preparing.

I suggest choosing the thing that is the hardest for you to do… It can be anything: money, health, cutting off unnecessary drama, loving you more, moving one step toward goals, anything. My 2 things (in 2Chainz voice, lol) is money and health. I am actually doing pretty decent in them but I can do better. So I set a goal for myself to save double what I would’ve saved this month which factors in not doing too much spending for Christmas. In remembering what Christmas really is, this is not that much of a huge task for me. This is why this time of the year is a time for reflection. Health wise, I want to continue on losing weight but I have to figure out how to get to the gym. I do a lot in one day and I can’t figure out how to factor in the gym. Also, with my schedule, I lost my prep day for the week which definitely put a strain on my health kick. So just trying to strategize those things into my life is key.

So, these are the kind of things you should start thinking and strategizing about. Some people are doing the juice, squat, and burpee challenges, meeting their gym goals for the week, signing up for nutrition plans, and arranging workout groups before the New Year begins. You can even cut out that one thing out of your diet that is hindering your weight lost process. Whatever positive move it is, it’s a step in the right direction! Don’t forget to tag us @jaeblog and #JAE28days with you progress. GOOD LUCK!!!
